Shopping online with Speedy Retail

Payment methods and security

Paying on account – if you hold an existing Speedy Hire account you can charge your online purchases to this account. In order to do this you will first need to register for a Speedy Retail online account.

Credit/debit cards – We accept payment from most major credit/debit cards. When buying from us your personal and payment details are protected by Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology which means that all credit card transactions are completely safe.

Delivery – areas and addresses covered

Currently we deliver in the UK only. We can however, deliver your order to a UK destination that is different from your payment/billing address – i.e. deliver direct to a construction site.

Delivery charges

Standard UK mainland:
• Orders under £100 – £5.00
• Orders over £100 – Free of charge

Rest of the UK:
• Scottish Highlands – £27.50
• Isle of Wight – £10.00
• Other UK Off Shore Islands inc Northern Ireland – £27.50

Delivery times

We deliver next day* on a range of items, for orders placed before midday - depending on product availability and unless specified otherwise in the product description.

*Deliveries are made on weekdays only, excluding public holidays.

Product descriptions and images

We endeavour to ensure that all pictures on our website are accurate however, errors may sometimes occur. Each picture is intended as a guide only and in some cases serves to demonstrate how a product will look when assembled or used with a separate item. Occasionally an image may vary slightly from the product supplied. Customers should refer to the product description for precise details of the item supplied.

Electricals Recycling - Waste Electrical and Electronic Regulations (WEEE Regulations)

If you are buying an electrical product from us as replacement for existing item we will recycle your old one for free. Simply take your old item to one of our hire depots, along with proof of purchase of the new product. Location addresses of our depots may be found at: Speedy Branch/Depot Locator
