Leica Disto D5 Laser
Introducing the BRAND NEW Leica DISTO D5! A world first: Digital pointfinder with 4x zoom! The new Disto is designed with many new functions and features to make measuring easier, particularly when working outdoors. It has a large, 2.4", high resolution colour display, and allows measurements to be taken even in glaring sunshine. It also allows the measurement results and additional information to be presented in an easy to read format. Additional information about the measurements e.g. room dimensions or angles, are available at the touch of a button. The integrated digital pointfinder with 4x zoom makes finding a target at long distances much easier. The in-built tilt sensor allows you to quickly and simply measures tilts up to ±45°. The tilt sensor allows you to measure absolutely horizontally or measure past obstructions (horizontal distance). The integrated Power Range Technology allows you to measure long distances very simply. Measure up to 100m without a target plate, and up to 200m with a target plate. The D5 features many different measurement modes including: single pythagorean measurement, double pythagorean measurement, trapezium function, trapezium function with tilt sensor, triangle function, horizontal distance, and many more. The Trapezium function is used to quickly and safely determine roof slopes and frontage areas. For example, you only need to take 3 measurements, and the results will appear on the screen. The Triangle function helps you quickly and efficiently find the area of a multi-cornered room. Simply divide the room into imaginary triangles. Then use 3 measurements to determine the ares of each of the triangles, which you can then add together as you proceed. The result will then by shown on screen. Typical measuring accuracy: ±1.0mm.
